Marfa Vasilyevna Sobakina (Russian: Марфа Васильевна Собакина; 1552 – 13 November 1571) was the tsaritsa of Russia as the third wife of Ivan the Terrible, the tsar of all Russia, from October 1571 until her death the next month.

Marfa Sobakina (1552–1571) was the third wife of Ivan the Terrible. Unfortunately, she was his wife for only 15 days. The girl was selected by Ivan among 12 marriage finalists.
In the year 7079/1571, on October 28, with the [Church] council’s consent, the tsar married the virgin Marfa Vasil’evna Sobakina, the daughter of a Novgorod merchant; but he lived with her during her illness, which took away her life, and she died on November 13.
