Marguerite de Rohan (1617 – 9 aprile 1684) fu una nobildonna francese e Duchessa di Rohan per suo proprio diritto. Sposò Henri Chabot per amore e la coppia generò quattro figli. Una grande ereditiera, ereditò il Ducato (poi principato) di Soubise che fu dato a sua figlia Anne [1].
It is descended from the House of Rohan in female line through the marriage of Marguerite de Rohan (1617-1684) (only daughter and heiress of Henry II, Duke of Rohan) with Henri Chabot (1616-1655), from the eldest branch of the Chabot de Jarnac family, in 1645.
Il casato di Rohan è un'antica famiglia nobile originaria della Bretagna, divenuta poi tra le più grandi e potenti di Francia . Molti suoi membri ricoprirono importanti ruoli politici ed ecclesiastici, tanto che il titolo di Vescovo di Strasburgo divenne di fatto un titolo ereditario del casato.
