Gülçiçek Hatun (turco ottomano: كلچیچك خاتون, "bocciolo di rosa"; Bitinia, 1335 – Bursa, 1400) è stata una concubina del sultano ottomano Murad I, e madre del suo successore Bayezid I.

Bursa, Altıparmak semtinde, Çarıklı Değirmen Sokağı’nda bulunan türbe, Sultan I. Murad’ın (Hüdavendigâr) eşi, Yıldırım Beyazıd’ın annesi Gülçiçek Hatun’a aittir. Padişah anaları arasında kendi adına türbesi olan ilk kadındır.

29 mag 2018 · Gülçiçek Hatun, Greek birth name Maria, was the Greek wife of a prince in an Anatolian beylik (principality) around Balıkesir. Several years after the death of her husband when the Ottoman Orhan conquered the region in 1344, she was captured and placed in the palace harem and made to convert to Islam.
Bayezid was the son of Murad I and his Greek wife, Gülçiçek Hatun. His first major role was as governor of Kütahya, a city that he earned by marrying the daughter of a Germiyanid ruler, Devletşah. He was an impetuous soldier, earning the nickname "Thunderbolt" in a battle against the Karamanids.
GÜLÇİÇEK HATUN TÜRBESİ. Yıldırım Bayezid’in annesi Gülçiçek Hatun’a ait olup padişah anaları için yapıldığı bilinen türbelerin en eski örneğidir. Kitâbesi bulunmayan yapının, Gülçiçek Hatun adına düzenlenen 802 (1399-1400) tarihli vakfiyeden XIV. yüzyılın sonlarında inşa edildiği anlaşılmaktadır.
