Salomea of Berg (German: Salome von Berg, Polish: Salomea z Bergu; c. 1099/1101 – 27 July 1144) was a noblewoman of Berg and, by marriage with Prince Bolesław III Wrymouth in 1115, High Duchess of Poland until her husband's death in 1138.
Le prime controversie contro il granduca ebbero inizio nel 1141, quando Boleslao, la madre Salomea di Berg e i fratelli si ritrovarono di nascosto a Łęczyca e organizzarono le nozze della loro sorella con uno dei figli del gran principe di Kiev.
Lo scoppio finale del conflitto ebbe luogo dopo la morte di Salomea di Berg nel 1144. Sembrava che la vittoria del granduca - grazie al suo predominio militare - fosse solo una questione di tempo. Ladislao II era abbastanza fiducioso di vincere in patria che mandò Boleslao ad aiutare il gran principe Vsevolod II durante una rivolta contro di lui.
