TOP 30 WEB SERIES OF ALL TIME. Here lie my personal favorites of all time. I have tried to include all the good titles here, of all the genres. The first 30 have given me the best time watching, but I have also included some others and will keep updating the list whenever I come across something worth mentioning.

- Freaks! Uno dei primissimi tentativi, in Italia, di creare qualcosa di paragonabile alle serie internazionali – che stavano comparendo in massa su YouTube attorno ai primi mesi di questo nuovo decennio – è stato Freaks!
- Lost in Google. Altro fenomeno molto interessante nell’ambito delle web series – anche se meno strutturato a livello narrativo – è stato Lost in Google, comparso per la prima volta su YouTube nel giugno del 2011, cercando di cavalcare l’onda del successo delle prime serie autoprodotte1.
- The Pills. Serie interessantissima, soprattutto per il talento nella scrittura, è anche The Pills, che, dopo una partenza quasi sottovoce avvenuta sul finire del 2011, è lentamente ma inesorabilmente cresciuta.
- Kubrick: una storia porno. Una sitcom, anche se più complessa a livello di trama, è pure Kubrick: una storia porno, partita nell’ottobre del 2012 e frutto di investimenti relativamente importanti.

Il termine webserie, o anche web serie o serie web, indica una mini-fiction televisiva realizzata per essere fruita attraverso il web, oppure sugli schermi dei dispositivi mobili. Un esempio è Pioneer One, progetto nato nel 2010 e finanziato dagli stessi spettatori attraverso il crowdfunding.
