Alexa Wilding (born Alice Wilding, c. 1847 – 25 April 1884) was one of the favourite models of the Pre-Raphaelite artist Dante Gabriel Rossetti, featuring in some of his finest paintings of the later 1860s and 1870s.
Alexa Wilding (she/her) is a writer, musician, and twin mama. After a decade-long career as a singer-songwriter (“the neo-Stevie Nicks” – The New York Times ), she received her MFA from The Writer's Foundry in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has recently appeared in Departures, Suleika Jaouad’s The Isolation Journals, Parents, and Cup of Jo.
