Martin van Meytens (24 June 1695 – 23 March 1770) was a Swedish - Austrian painter who painted members of the Royal Court of Austria such as Marie Antoinette, Maria Theresa of Austria, Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor, the Emperor's family and members of the local aristocracy.

A 1760s oil painting by the Swedish artist Martin van Meytens the Younger, depicting Count Giacomo Durazzo and Ernestine Aloisia Ungnad von Weissenwolff, a Genoese diplomat and his wife. The portrait was commissioned by Durazzo, who was the director of the imperial theaters in Vienna and a patron of Gluck's opera reform.

MEYTENS (Mytens), Martin van, il Giovane. Hans Tietze. Pittore, nato a Stoccolma il 24 giugno 1695, morto a Vienna il 23 marzo 1770. Discendente da famiglia di pittori, fu prima in Inghilterra nel 1714 poi, nel 1717, a Parigi, ivi scolaro di Ch. Boit. A Parigi acquistò rinomanza come miniatore.
