Edgar P. Jacobs, pseudonimo di Edgard Félix Pierre Jacobs, è stato un fumettista belga, creatore della serie Blake e Mortimer. Collaboratore di Hergé, a sua volta creatore di Tintin, è, nell'ambito della letteratura disegnata, tra gli autori legati allo stile detto ligne claire.
Edgard Félix Pierre Jacobs (30 March 1904 – 20 February 1987), better known under his pen name Edgar P. Jacobs, was a Belgian comic book creator (writer and artist), born in Brussels, Belgium.

Jacobs, né le 30 mars 1904 à Bruxelles (province de Brabant), mort le 20 février 1987 à Lasne (province du Brabant wallon), est un auteur de bande dessinée belge, principalement connu pour la série Blake et Mortimer, l'une des bandes dessinées européennes les plus populaires du XX e siècle.

Edgar Pierre Jacobs is one of the masters of Belgian comics, despite his small body of work. His signature series, 'Blake and Mortimer' (1946- ), only counts 11 albums by his own hand. Together with just one other stand-alone comic book, 'Le Rayon U' (1943), they form almost his entire oeuvre.
