Margaret Livingston Aldrich, also known as Angel of Puerto Rico (née Chanler; October 31, 1870 – March 19, 1963), was an American philanthropist, poet, nurse, and woman's suffrage advocate and prominent member of the Astor family.
Margaret Livingston (Chanler) Aldrich was a daughter of John Winthrop Chanler, a prominent attorney and U.S. Representative from New York, and his wife, Margaret Astor Maddie (Ward) Chanler, an Astor heiress whose parents were Samuel Cutler Ward and Emily Astor, a daughter of William Backhouse Astor.
6 nov 2018 · When Margaret Livingston Chanler Aldrich passed away in 1963, Rokeby, which had been left to her and nine siblings by her mother in 1875, was placed in a trust for the three children of her son, who had predeceased her.

In 1906, she married Richard Aldrich, an American music critic for the New York Times. Richard Aldrich died on June 2, 1937 in Rome, Italy.
