27 feb 2018 · Rudaki. Abu Abdallah Ja’far Ben Mohammad noto come Rudaki, è il primo grande poeta di lingua persiana e padre della poesia persiana. Egli venne alla luce nell’anno 858 a Rudak di Samarcanda e all’età di otto anni imparò il Corano e lo memorizzò e da quel momento si dedicò alla poesia.
The terse- ness, the simplicity of his poetic expression gave birth to a new literary style, known as the Horasa- nian or Rudaki style, which dominated Persian poetry during several centuries. Still during the Middle Ages, scholars would qualify the style of the poet as “sakhle moumtans” (inaccessible simplicity).
