Heinrich Gotthard von Treitschke (* 15. September 1834 in Dresden; † 28. April 1896 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Historiker, politischer Publizist und Mitglied des Reichstags von 1871 bis 1884, zunächst als nationalliberaler Abgeordneter, ab 1878 ohne Parteizugehörigkeit.

Storico tedesco, nato a Dresda il 15 settembre 1834, morto a Berlino il 28 aprile 1896. Di famiglia protestante, crebbe in un ambiente militare. Studente a Bonn e quindi a Lipsia, nel 1854 si laureò a Friburgo in economia politica.
Vita. Di famiglia protestante, legata a tradizioni patriottiche e militari, studiò a Bonn, Tubinga, Heidelberg, Lipsia, dove si laureò in economia politica con W. G. F. Roscher.
