Neal Paul Hefti (October 29, 1922 – October 11, 2008) was an American jazz trumpeter, composer, and arranger. He wrote music for The Odd Couple movie and TV series and for the Batman TV series. He began arranging professionally in his teens, when he wrote charts for Nat Towles.

The album, produced by Hugo & Luigi, was one of her most successful. It was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1961. Della was recorded at RCA Victor Studios in New York City during three weeks in October 1959, with Reese backed by a big band conducted and arranged by Neal Hefti. [1]
