John Matthew Stafford (born February 7, 1988) is an American football quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs, where he was a first-team All-American, and was selected first overall by the Detroit Lions in the 2009 NFL draft.
The Los Angeles Rams traded quarterback Jared Goff and future draft picks to the Detroit Lions for quarterback Matthew Stafford. In his first season with the Rams, Stafford helped lead the team to a Super Bowl LVI victory. He finished top five in the 2021
