Alexander Toth (June 25, 1928 – May 27, 2006) [1] was an American cartoonist active from the 1940s through the 1980s. Toth's work began in the American comic book industry, but he is also known for his animation designs for Hanna-Barbera throughout the 1960s and 1970s.

Although his name may not be familiar to children of the 1960s, '70s, and '80s who grew up on Saturday morning cartoons, Alex Toth (1928-2006) was responsible for creating and designing many of the characters those children cherished. In 1947, Alex Toth began illustrating comic books for DC Comics.
