Bohuslav Sobotka (Czech pronunciation: [ˈboɦuslaf ˈsobotka]; born October 23 October 1971) is a Czech politician and lawyer who served as the prime minister of the Czech Republic from January 2014 to December 2017 and Leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) from 2010 until his resignation in June 2017.
Bohuslav Sobotka (* 23. října 1971 Telnice) je bývalý český politik, v letech 2014–2017 předseda vlády České republiky. Od března 2011 do června 2017 zastával funkci předsedy České strany sociálně demokratické (v období od parlamentních voleb 2010 do zvolení předsedou byl pověřen vedením strany).
From 2002 until 2006 he worked as Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister, was the Chairman of the Budget Committee of the Chamber of Deputies and Statutory Vice Chairman of the ČSSD. He has headed the Mandate and Immunity Committee of the Chamber of Deputies since December 2011.
