David Henry Frisch (March 12, 1918 – May 23, 1991) was an American physicist who helped develop the atom bomb in World War II and later became active in the disarmament movement. He was also the husband of Rose Epstein Frisch.
Frisch–Smith experiment. A much more precise experiment of this kind was conducted by David H. Frisch and Smith (1962) and documented by a film. They measured approximately 563 muons per hour in six runs on Mount Washington at 1917m above sea-level.
David H. Frisch was an American physicist. He worked on the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos, working with the Van de Graaff long tank accelerator to measure neutron cross sections. He later became active in the nuclear disarmament movement. He was a professor at physics at MIT for more than 40 years.

Biography. David Henry Frisch, 1918-1991, AB 1940, Princeton; PhD 1947, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was a professor in the MIT Department of Physics, 1948-1988. He was a specialist in the field of nuclear and elementary particle physics.
