Elias Avery Lowe (Kalvarija, 15 ottobre 1879 – 8 agosto 1969) è stato un paleografo russo naturalizzato statunitense. The complete title of the work is Codices Latini Antiquiores: A Paleographical Guide to Latin Manuscripts Prior to the Ninth Century. Elias Avery Lowe founded the project in 1929 and directed it himself until his death in 1969.
