Foals (stylised in all caps) are a British rock band formed in Oxford in 2005. The band's current line-up consists of Greek-born lead vocalist and guitarist Yannis Philippakis, drummer and percussionist Jack Bevan, rhythm guitarist Jimmy Smith and bassist Walter Gervers.

On 10 February 2022, Foals released "2am" and announced the name of their seventh album as Life Is Yours, and later announced the album release date. On 1 April 2022, the band released the third single from the album, "Looking High". On 19 May 2022, Foals released the single "2001".

A foal is an equine up to one year old; this term is used mainly for horses, but can be used for donkeys. More specific terms are colt for a male foal and filly for a female foal, and are used until the horse is three or four. When the foal is nursing from its dam (mother), it may also be called a "suckling".
Holy Fire is the third studio album by English rock band Foals, released on 11 February 2013 in the United Kingdom on Transgressive Records. The first single " Inhaler " first aired on 5 November 2012 on Zane Lowe 's BBC Radio 1 show, with the music video being released later that same day. [2]
