The Candy Snatchers is a 1973 American exploitation crime film directed by Guerdon Trueblood. The film was unofficially inspired by the kidnapping of Barbara Jane Mackle. It stars Susan Sennett as a teenager who is kidnapped and held for ransom by three amateur criminals.
Guerdon Trueblood è stato accreditato per la storia e, secondo alcuni siti di recensioni, fu proprio lui ad ideare gran parte della storia originale del terzo film. Anche Carl Gottlieb , che aveva lavorato anche alle sceneggiature dei primi due film, fu accreditato come sceneggiatore, insieme a Richard Matheson.
