Family. See Houghton family. Marion Houghton Grant (née Hepburn; April 24, 1918 – August 1, 1986) was an American historian, writer, and activist. She was the daughter of feminist Katharine Martha Houghton Hepburn and the sister of actress Katharine Hepburn.
The Houghton Mansion is the former home of Albert Charles Houghton and his family in North Adams, Massachusetts. It was later used as a Masonic temple, but is now empty.
Georgiana Houghton Biography. Georgiana Houghton (1814-84) was born to British parents on April 20th 1814 in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. She was the seventh of twelve children (two died in infancy) of Mary Warrand and George Houghton who was a foreign merchant.
