Jean Chalopin ( Saint-Christophe-des-Bois, 31 de mayo de 1950) es un productor de dibujos animados francés, mejor conocido por haber fundado el estudio DIC Entertainment . Biografía. Chalopin nació en 1950 en un Saint-Christophe-des-Bois, un pueblo de Bretaña ( Francia ), aunque años más tarde se trasladaría a Tours.
In 1983, Bianchi scored his first major directing job on Inspector Gadget, a series he co-created with Andy Heyward and DiC's founder Jean Chalopin. Bianchi served as main character designer and supervising director on the show, which became one of the most iconic series produced by DiC.
In 1990 film producer Jean Chalopin, owner of the property from 1989 to 2006, began a project to restore the Château. The castle was once owned by Yellowstone Club founders Edra and Tim Blixseth. Following the Blixseth's 2009 divorce and bankruptcy, the castle was put up for sale by creditors for $57 million U.S. dollars.
