The short film Passing Hearts, which Brisinger wrote and directed in 2004, was honoured with several awards at film festivals around the world, including the audience award at the Berlinale. [1]
Johan was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He earned a Bachelors degree from the School of Cinematic Arts at USC, Los Angeles and began his career directing commercials and music videos. Johan’s work has been featured in SHOTS, shortlisted in Cannes and won numerous awards.

The series is based on the novel The Conductor from Saint Petersburg by Camilla Grebe and Paul Leander-Engström, adapted by Aleksi Bardy, Mia Ylönen, Max Barron. It was produced by Black Spark Film & TV and the producer was Piodor Gustafsson. The series consisted of eight episodes, four of which were directed by Mikael Håfström.
