Michael Henry Carreras (21 December 1927 – 19 April 1994) was a British film producer and director. He was known for his association with Hammer Films, being the son of founder James Carreras, and taking an executive role in the company during its most successful years.

Il film è stato distribuito su DVD dalla Sony Pictures Entertainment, contenente il trailer e un fascicolo scritto da Marcus Hearn come contenuti extra. In Italia il film uscì nel 2007 e, poi, nel 2009 insieme al film Il mostro di Londra, in un cofanetto editato dalla Sony Pictures Entertainmented intitolato "Hammer Films - Volume 1".
