Neil Forsyth (born 1978) is a Scottish author, television writer and journalist. He has written and created a number of British television shows including The Gold, Guilt, and Bob Servant Independent, and has won numerous television awards.

Written and created by Neil Forsyth, the show initially centres on two brothers, played by Mark Bonnar and Jamie Sives, who get involved in a hit and run, before involving a large cast in an ongoing story. The first series of Guilt was broadcast in 2019, [1] and the second series broadcast in the autumn of 2021.
