Reggie Watts. Reginald Lucien Frank Roger Watts (born March 23, 1972) is an American comedian, actor, beatboxer, and musician. His improvised musical sets are created using only his voice, a keyboard, and a looping machine. Watts refers to himself as a "disinformationist" who aims to disorient his audience in a comedic fashion.
Maktub was formed in 1996 when Davis Martin called Reggie Watts, a student at the Cornish College of the Arts at the time, to come jam with Kevin Goldman, Alex Veley, and himself. After only 5 minutes of jamming, the band hit it off, and by day's end wrote their first song.

Unlike his predecessors, Corden's Late Late Show has a house band, originally nicknamed "Karen", but later, in response to the slang usage of Karen, changed to "Melissa", led by Reggie Watts who also acts as the show's announcer. Watts also performs as lead vocals, keyboards, beatboxing, and programmer.
