Tienen /'ti:nən/ (in francese Tirlemont /tiʁl'mõ/) è una città belga di 32.083 abitanti nelle Fiandre ( Brabante Fiammingo ). È famosa soprattutto per la produzione dello zucchero, tanto da essere soprannominata la "ville sucrière" (la città di zucchero).

De stad telt ruim 36.000 inwoners en ligt op een hoogte van 40 meter. Met een oppervlakte van 72,77 km² is Tienen de grootste gemeente van de provincie Vlaams-Brabant.
