Quite simply, Upton Hall School FCJ is a lovely place to be. Walking the corridors of our school, you can literally see and feel the history and traditions that make Upton so special. Upton was founded over 150 years ago by an inspiring woman named Marie Madeleine.
History. The school was founded in 1849. It was opened by the FCJ Sisters, a religious society founded in nineteenth century France by Marie Madeleine, a widow and mother who was passionate about education.
