Volda is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is part of the Sunnmøre region. The administrative centre is the village of Volda. Other villages in the municipality include Dravlaus, Fyrde, Straumshamn, Leira, Bjørke, and Grodås. The municipality is located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) south of the town of Ålesund.
Volda er en kommune i Møre og Romsdal. Den grenser i nord til Ørsta og Ulstein, i sør til Stad kommune og Stryn, i øst til Stranda og i vest til Vanylven. Det er også grense mot Herøy ved at grensene mellom Volda, Ulstein, Herøy og Vanylven møtes i Rovdefjorden.
Volda is the administrative centre of the municipality of Volda, in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the northeastern shore of the Voldsfjorden, just less than 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of the village of Ørsta. The 3.77-square-kilometre (930-acre) village has a population (2018) of 6,433.
