Raymond is an award-winning teacher and molecular geneticist who began her academic career at Williams College where she served as Williams’ first associate dean for institutional diversity. She earned her A.B. in chemistry at Cornell University and was an American Cancer Society postdoctoral fellow in genetics at the University of Washington.
