Empezó de actor de cine hasta que en 1988 trabajó como doble de Eduardo Yáñez en la telenovela Dulce desafío, mayormente en escenas de motocicleta. A partir de allí decide continuar en la actuación y se matrícula en el Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) de Televisa en el año 1990.
