Fiona followed her parents into show business and became a successful singer which developed to radio broadcasting and then TV and theatre appearances. The first television appearance by Fiona was in the 1971 TV mini series The Witch's Daughter.
Fiona Kennedy is a self-releasing artist and full-time professional musician based in Cork city. Fiona began performing as a singer-songwriter in her teens. By the time she was in university she was performing alongside Luka Bloom, Mary Black, Jimmy McCarthy and opened for John Martyn and Moving Hearts.
