John Harris Behan (October 24, 1844 – June 7, 1912) was an American law enforcement officer and politician who served as Sheriff of Cochise County in the Arizona Territory, during the gunfight at the O.K. Corral and was known for his opposition to the Earps. Behan was sheriff of Yavapai County from 1871 to 1873.

In quegli anni, il sovrintendente della prigione era nientedimeno che Johnny Behan, l’ex sceriffo di della Cochise County. I due erano stati amici e più di una volta Leslie aveva fatto parte delle squadre di Behan.
26 ott 2016 · L’episodio chiave che portò alla sparatoria fu un tentativo di assalto alla diligenza il 15 marzo 1881, nel quale persero la vita due persone. In quel periodo Wyatt Earp concorreva all’elezione di sceriffo della Contea di Cochise e aveva come avversario Johnny Behan.

John Peters Ringo (May 3, 1850 – July 13, 1882) was an American Old West outlaw loosely associated with the Cochise County Cowboys in frontier boomtown Tombstone, Arizona Territory. He took part in the Mason County War in Texas during which he committed his first murder. He was arrested and charged with murder. [1]
