Larry Kramer. Laurence David Kramer (June 25, 1935 – May 27, 2020) was an American playwright, author, film producer, public health advocate, and gay rights activist. He began his career rewriting scripts while working for Columbia Pictures, which led him to London, where he worked with United Artists.
Larry D. Kramer (born June 23, 1958) is an American legal scholar who is the president and vice chancellor of the London School of Economics, commencing in April 2024. Kramer was the president of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation from 2012 through 2023. [1]
