Mark Owen, pseudonimo di Matt Bissonnette, è uno scrittore e militare statunitense, ex-capo di 3ª classe dei Navy SEALs appartenente al DEVGRU che ha preso parte all'Operazione Lancia di Nettuno, avvenuta tra il 1º e il 2 maggio 2011 e culminata con l'uccisione del leader di Al-Qāʿida Osama Bin Laden.
Matt Bissonnette (born March 17, 1976) is a former United States Navy SEAL and author of No Easy Day, a book which he wrote using the pen name Mark Owen. The book chronicles his life and military service, but mostly is about his involvement with Operation Neptune Spear.
In the book, Owen chronicles his upbringing in Alaska and his long desire to be a SEAL. Owen completed BUD/S training in 1999 and served with SEAL Team Five. He recounts the rigors of his entry into DEVGRU and describes several operations in which he participated with the group in Iraq and Afghanistan.
