Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev (15 April [O.S. 3 April] 1894 – 11 September 1971) was First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1953 to 1964, and Chairman of the Council of Ministers (premier) from 1958 to 1964.
Incaricato nel 1944 della ricostruzione dell'Ucraina, ebbe parte importante, quale presidente del Consiglio della repubblica ucraina e segretario del Partito comunista ucraino, nella eliminazione del movimento antisovietico ucraino.
Nikita Sergeevic Kruscev nasce il 15 aprile del 1894 a Kalinovka, nella Russia imperiale, nell'oblast di Kursk. Il suo complesso cognome è trascritto spesso in italiano in Krusciov, oppure Kruscev, o ancora Chruščëv, Khrushchev.
