Lone Scherfig (Danish: [ˈloːnə ˈɕɛɐ̯fi]; born 2 May 1959) is a Danish film director and screenwriter. She has been involved with the Dogme 95 film movement. Scherfig's movies are generally romantic comedies, including her film One Day (2011), based on the David Nicholls's novel of the same name.

Writer/director Lone Scherfig graduated from The National Film School of Denmark in 1984. Her first feature film, THE BIRTHDAY TRIP (1990), was selected for Panorama in Berlin, the New Directors section at MOMA in New York and won the Grand Jury Prix in Rouen.

Lone Wrede Scherfig (født 2. maj 1959 i Søborg ved København) er en dansk filminstruktør. Hun var i 2009 instruktør på filmen An Education, som i 2010 blev nomineret til en Oscar i kategorien årets bedste film. Filmen blev desuden nomineret i kategorierne bedste kvindelige hovedrolle og bedste manuskript.
The Riot Club is a 2014 British thriller drama film directed by Lone Scherfig and written by Laura Wade, based on Wade's 2010 play Posh. The film stars Sam Claflin, Max Irons and Douglas Booth. It is set among the Riot Club, a fictional all-male, exclusive dining club at the University of Oxford.
