In 2015, it was announced that Christoph Waltz would direct and star in the film The Worst Marriage in Georgetown (retitled Georgetown before its release), based on the true crime story of the murder of Viola Drath.

2 gen 2024 · Si sapeva che Christoph Waltz avrebbe preso in mano la regia del progetto, che allora aveva come titolo The Worst Marriage in Georgetown, già nel 2015. È infatti titolato in ugual modo l’articolo del New York Times di Franklin Foer, da cui la pellicola prende ispirazione.
