John Frederick of Württemberg (5 May 1582, in Montbéliard – 18 July 1628) was the Duke of Württemberg from 4 February 1608 until his death on 18 July 1628 whilst en route to Heidenheim.
Duke Wilhelm Friedrich Carl Philipp Albert Nikolaus Erich Maria (born Ravensburg, 13 August 1994), succeeded Carl as Head of the House of Württemberg in 2022.
Biography. Son of Duke Friedrich of Württemberg, from 1586 at the Stuttgart Court, studied at the "Collegium illustre" in Tübingen, travelled to Italy (1600), to the North, including Prague (1605), and to the Netherlands (1606). Became Duke in 1608.
