Tver (Russian: Тверь, IPA:) is a city and the administrative centre of Tver Oblast, Russia. It is situated at the confluence of the Volga and Tvertsa rivers. Tver is located 180 kilometres (110 mi) northwest of Moscow. Population: 416,216 (2021 Census).
TVer is a Japanese ad-supported video on demand (AVOD) service. It was established in October 2015 by the five commercial broadcasters in Tokyo: Nippon TV, TV Asahi, TBS Television, TV Tokyo, and Fuji Television. It allows viewers to watch TV programs they missed during their initial broadcast for free for one week.
