RÁKÓCZI, Francesco II. Figlio di Francesco I e di Elena Zrinyi, nacque a Borsi il 27 marzo 1676. In età tenerissima fu presente col patrigno, Emerico Thököly, all'infelice impresa dei Turchi contro Vienna (1683), poi, al fianco dell'eroica madre, prese parte alla difesa della fortezza di Munkács (Mukačevo) contro le truppe imperiali.
