Alexandra Anastasia Hamilton, Duchess of Abercorn, OBE OStJ (née Phillips; 27 February 1946 – 10 December 2018) was a British peeress and philanthropist. She was the wife of James Hamilton, 5th Duke of Abercorn, and a descendant of Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, in whose honour she founded the Pushkin Trust and the Pushkin prizes.
Nacque a Brighton, nel Sussex, terzo figlio di quattordici di James Hamilton, I duca di Abercorn e Lady Louisa Jane Russell, figlia di Sir John Russell, VI duca di Bedford. Venne nominata Mistress of the Robes dalla regina Alessandra nel 1901.
Abercorn married Lady Louisa, second daughter of John Russell, 6th Duke of Bedford, in 1832. They had fourteen children, thirteen of whom survived infancy, among them seven daughters, all of whom were ordered to marry into the peerage and no one beneath the rank of an earl: [9]
