  7. Biography. Born in The Hague, the daughter of Frederick V (q.v.), Elector of Pfalz who became King of Bohemia and of Elisabeth Stuart (qq.v.). In 1658 she married Ernst August of Hanover and her eldest son became George I (q.v.) of England. She died on 8 June 1714.
