Schaumburg ( / ˈʃɔːmbɜːrɡ / SHAWM-burg) is a village located mostly in Cook County and partly in DuPage County in northeastern Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 Census, the population was 78,723, making Schaumburg the most populous incorporated village in the United States. [3] .
Stadthagen (German pronunciation: [ʃtatˈhaːɡən]) is the capital of the district of Schaumburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 20 km east of Minden and 40 km west of Hanover.
