Che cos’è Per Elisa? Per Elisa, il cui vero titolo è Für Elise, è un brano di musica classica per pianoforte composto a Vienna nel 1810 dal pianista-compositore Ludwig van Beethoven. Classificata come Bagatelle, la composizione divenne veramente nota solo nel 1867, quando fu pubblicata in partitura.
What Ludwig Nohl claims to be the basis of his first publication of the work has never been found. All we have of the piece are (1) two lines of sketches from 1808 and (2) sketches from 1810 with pencil revisions from 1822, probably, for inclusion into the set of 11 Bagatelles, Op.119.
Born in Regensburg and treated for a while as a child prodigy, she first travelled on concert tours with Beethoven's friend Johann Nepomuk Mälzel, also from Regensburg, and then lived with him for some time in Vienna, where she received singing lessons from Antonio Salieri.
