Rolf Gustaf Stefan Wirtén, född 4 maj 1931 i Klosters församling i Eskilstuna, [10] död 19 februari 2023 i Domkyrkodistriktet i Linköping, [11] [12] var en svensk politiker (folkpartist) och ämbetsman.
Han har även tjänstgjort som skogsdirektör samt överdirektör, biträdande generaldirektör, på Skogsstyrelsen. Åren 2010–2021 var Wirtén svensk generalsekreterare för Världsnaturfonden . Håkan Wirtén är son till Rolf Wirtén. Han är gift och har tre barn. Hustrun Anneli Wirtén är generaldirektör för SGU .
20 feb 2023 · Rolf Wirtén började sin karriär som lärare i Jönköping på 1950-talet, 1987 utsågs han till landshövding i Östergötland. Politiskt tillhörde han den frisinnade falangen i det dåvarande Folkpartiet. Sin kyrkliga förankring hade Rolf Wirtén i Missionsförbundet.

Ahlmark was born in Stockholm, Sweden, as the son of the professor in medicine Axel Ahlmark and the dentist Gunvor Berglund. He completed upper secondary education at Södra Latin in Stockholm and earned a BA in political science from Stockholm Universityin 1964.
Ahlmark joined the Liberal Youth of Sweden in 1960 and was elected chairman of the organization the same year.
