Il Tractatus pacis toti Christianitati fiendae fu un progetto di pace universale iniziato nel XV secolo dal re Giorgio di Boemia. Per la sua realizzazione ebbero luogo importanti negoziati diplomatici tra gli stati europei negli anni 1462 - 1464 .
The Tractatus pacis toti Christianitati fiendae, or Treaty on the Establishment of Peace throughout Christendom, was the unsuccessful project of universal peace initiated by King George of Bohemia in the 15th century. For its realization, serious diplomatic negotiations took place among European states in the years 1462–1464.
Il Tractatus pacis toti christianitati fiendae fu elaborato alla corte del re ussita Giorgio Poděbrad di Boemia da Antoine Marini. Si tratta di un progetto di pace perpetua tra i sovrani dell’Europa cristiana, finalizzata alla comune difesa contro il pericolo turco.
Il famoso e ambizioso progetto, conosciuto anche come Tractatus pacis toti christianitati fiendae, dall’intestazione che al documento diede la cancelleria polacca cui era stato inviato da Praga l’anno precedente, era stato predisposto da re Giorgio in collaborazione con Marini e con il giurista umanista tedesco
This review regards a document, known as the Tractatus pacis toti Christianitati fiendae (1462-1464), drawn up on the initiative of George of Bohemia, the Hussite King.
