24 apr 2024 · Dopo il discreto successo de L'uomo d'acciaio, come ricorderete, la Warner Bros. annunciò il crossover Batman v Superman anziché puntare sul sequel diretto del film con Henry Cavill.
In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, il genio criminale Lex Luthor manipola Batman e Superman portandoli a scontrarsi tra di loro. Il film è stato annunciato al San Diego Comic-Con International del 2013. Nel giugno 2013 sia Snyder che Goyer, regista e sceneggiatore del primo film, confermarono il loro ritorno.
