8 set 2018 · C’è una leggenda intorno alla costruzione dell’abbazia di Klosterneuburg (Stift Klosterneuburg), documentataci fino ai giorni nostri dal lontano XIV secolo. Protagonisti il margravio Leopoldo III di Babenberg (poi solo Leopoldo il Santo) e la sua pia mogliettina Agnese di Waiblingen, figlia dell’imperatore Enrico IV.
Agnese di Babenberg è stata una nobile tedesca naturalizzata polacca, granduchessa consorte di Polonia e di Slesia.
