Anne of Foix-Candale (1484 – 26 July 1506) was Queen of Hungary and Bohemia as the third wife of King Vladislaus II . Biography. Anne was the daughter of Gaston of Foix, Count of Candale [1] and Infanta Catherine of Navarre. Her mother was the youngest daughter of Queen Eleanor of Navarre and Gaston IV, Count of Foix.

Biografia. Anna era la figlia maggiore di Ladislao II re di Boemia e Ungheria, e della sua terza moglie, Anna di Foix-Candale. Era la sorella più anziana di Luigi II d'Ungheria e Boemia e sua erede. I suoi nonni paterni erano il re Casimiro IV di Polonia ed Elisabetta d'Austria.

Anne of Foix-Candale was a French noblewoman who married King James IV of Scotland. She was the daughter of Queen Eleanor of Navarre and Gaston IV, Count of Foix. She is most famous for her role in the 1513 Battle of Flodden, where she led the Scottish troops.
