Alexander Paul Thomas Stafford (born 19 July 1987) is a British politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Rother Valley since the 2019 general election. He is the first Conservative to be elected for the seat.
Alexander is a committed advocate of environmental causes, and opposed both the resumption of exploratory fracking in Harthill and Woodsetts as well as the route of HS2 phase 2b which threatened 4.1 hectares of ancient woodland at Norwood in Rother Valley.

Alex Stafford was first elected as the Conservative MP for Rother Valley in 2019, having gained the seat off the Labour Party with a majority of 6,318. The Rother valley constituency is found within the county of South Yorkshire and includes the town of Maltby.
